Is there a ride heatmap for motorcycles?
Yes — but not on Strava. Motorcycle activities are not allowed on Strava, and its heatmaps are built from allowed Strava activities — so there is no legitimate way to get a motorcycle ride into them.

Why there’s no Strava heatmap for motorcycles
Strava’s heatmaps — the global heatmap and your personal heatmap — are drawn from recorded Strava activities. And motorcycle activities are not allowed on Strava: its Segment Leaderboard Guidelines say it directly, and its supported sport types list no motorcycle. The personal heatmap is a subscriber feature — and even a subscriber cannot put a motorcycle ride on it by the rules. What a ride heatmap actually shows
A ride heatmap answers two different questions at once. Where have I been — the reach of every ride you have ever taken, the districts and passes and detours, drawn as ground actually covered. And where do I really ride — the density underneath the reach, the commute corridor and the favourite loop burning deeper than the roads you touched once. A season of riding has a shape, and a heatmap is the one picture that shows it.
What the Coverage Atlas counts
The Coverage Atlas is drawn at a fixed kilometre-scale square: a square lights up when a recorded ride crosses it, and deepens each time you cross it again. Beside the map it keeps a panel of numbers, all computed from your own recorded rides: the explored area in km² (or mi²), the countries you have crossed — checked against real border polygons, not guesses — and your total distance, rides, and hours. Drag the panel up for the rest: the regions and cities you have reached. The map can be focused on this month, the last 90 days, this year, or all time; the headline numbers stay lifetime totals. There are two views of the same ground: the heatmap of squares, and a plain routes view of the ridden lines.

Can Strava draw a heatmap of motorcycle rides?
